WHAT I GAINED
FROM THIS CLASS
Poems
I definitely LOVE poems and our literature exhibition reminded me why. Although sometimes it is tricky to for me to uncover the hidden meanings, I find this challenge rather pleasant. It's not as stressful as other subjects as it does not have a rigid view. Poetry can be interpreted in many ways.
Short story and novel
This taught me that the characters in every story can represent a society or a group of people. Any single detail could represent something or have a hidden meaning behind it. It is very interesting to me what a plate of rice could symbolize in a story. It is definitely challenging but it's easier because all these scenarios are what we usually experience and see.
midterm test results
My result is not bad for a first assessment, but I wish to improve drastically so that I can prove my love towards this subject. I believe that my weakness lies in thinking more outside the box.
